Marché Franglais & the first online event

A few weeks ago a lady I know via the facebook networking page Hike Those Likes France was asking me about how to create online events to promote our wares and the idea of organising an online event for multiple pages came to mind.

Initially I was thinking just of a one off event with a few fellow hikers, each of us bringing our own fan base to the event to introduce hopefully to the other pages. Having started to discuss the plans it became apparent that my idea was a good one and we wanted everybody to be able to profit. And so the page Marché Franglais was born. The idea is to have a main page to network on and each month I will be organising a themed online market event. Each event will have a maximum of 10 pages participating as sellers.

The first event - a marché de noel all next week - is already proving to be popular on facebook - current reach at 1,4k and I'm reeling from the response we've had. A second marché de noel is planned for beginning of December (with 7 different pages already booked), a Valentine's market in January is also planned as well as a special textile event.
